PestPic is operated by A&K Systems (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the PestPic mobile app collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
PestPic is currently a beta release. Features and data practices may change while we test, and we will update this policy when they do.

We ask only for approximate location, never precise location.

Crash reports are written to your device when the app stops unexpectedly and sent the next time you open it. They record which screens you opened, which buttons you tapped, and which network requests failed. They do not include your photos, your location, or anything you typed.
We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Pest control providers. When you choose to contact a provider, the app opens your own email app or dialer with a draft addressed to that provider. You send it yourself, and you can see and edit everything before you do. What that draft contains — typically the diagnosis result, the phone number and address you entered, and your note — is what the provider receives. We do not send anything to a provider on your behalf, and we share nothing with any provider unless you choose to contact one.
Service providers that process data for us. Our servers send your photo to third parties in order to produce a result:

These companies process the data on our instructions in order to provide the service. We do not give them your name, email address, phone number, or home address.
Legal requests. We may disclose information if we are required to by law or valid legal process.
Apart from the above, we do not share your personal information with anyone.
Our servers are located in the United States. As described in section 3, insect photos are sent to Kindwise s.r.o. in the Czech Republic for species identification, which means your photo is processed outside the United States. By using the app, you understand that your photo is transferred and processed in this way.

When you delete your account, we delete the information above without undue delay.
Anything you already sent to a pest control provider from your own email account is outside our control, and deleting your PestPic account does not remove it. Contact that provider directly.
Settings > Delete account in the app.Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, such as the right to know what personal information we hold and the right to have it deleted. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of where you live. Use the same contact address above.
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
PestPic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email Thepestpic@gmail.com and we will delete it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version in the app and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect.
